Auror Brand Guidelines - Case Study
As part of the Marketing Design team, we were challenged to create an illustration and animation system that explained our product offerings and eased our customer experience across touchpoints as part of the Auror brand update.
Our system had to be easy to recognize to suit our audiences across different geographies globally and scalable within Auror’s brand even as we continued to evolve the brand across all points of interaction.
We created a set of 15+ pictograms, 120+ icons, and several illustrations and infographics that would take the Auror visual experience to the next level. To add to the challenge we also made three colour variations for every icon, and expressive pictograms using gradients, and transparency, whilst also keeping the Auror distinct yellow in mind.

We tested for multiple situations, going from an abstract approach to a more realistic one for more functional contexts. A visual asset library was created which included objects, symbols, people, and environments to cover everything from icons to spot illustrations and marketing & product illustrations.
We explored two different approaches: a detailed, gradient stroke pictographic version for spot illustrations and website and a simpler, more minimalistic flat illustration style using tones of gray and pops of Auror brand colour to highlight key information.
We were tasked with coming up with a comprehensive ad campaign to launch Auror’s ALPR/ANPR offering to US, UK, AU/NZ Markets. We wanted to position Auror’s ALPR/ANPR (Automatic License/Number Plate Recognition) as THE SOLUTION to proactively prevent loss and harm.
We created an animated explainer video that speaks to the benefits of using ALPR/ANPR alongside our existing product suite within Auror.
